What Is Rerolling (Account Reset)?
In TCG Pocket, bad luck can leave you with lots of duplicate cards early on, making progress much harder. Rerolling means resetting your account and starting fresh to give yourself another chance at better cards.
Why Should You Reroll?
Rerolling makes a big difference, especially with your early packs. The table below shows how much account quality can vary, based on real reroll data:
| Total Cards | Unique Cards | EX Cards | Special Art Cards |
|---|---|---|---|
| 82 | 56 | 4 | 1 |
| 82 | 64 | 2 | 2 |
| 82 | 59 | 1 | 0 |
| 82 | 65 | 0 | 2 |
| 97 | 60 | 4 | 0 |
Landing good EX and special art cards early makes deck building far easier and unlocks rental decks faster.

What Makes a Good Reroll Account
A good account typically has:
- 3 or more EX cards
- At least 1 special art card
- If you're targeting a specific deck, the cards that deck needs
Tips for Fast Rerolling
To keep each reroll as short as possible, follow these steps:
- Complete every mission except the battle mode missions.
- Aim for 82 cards in total — that's 16 packs plus 2 Wonder Picks.
- Each reroll takes about 20-25 minutes.
TIP: If your results are borderline, you could open a few more packs by playing battle mode, but it takes so long that starting a fresh reroll is usually faster.
Rerolling Cautions
Be careful with purchases! Rerolling deletes purchased items along with your save data. Don't spend any money until you have an account you're truly happy with.
Resets cannot be undone! Be careful not to accidentally delete a good account. Once you're happy with an account, link it to an external account.
Don't chase the perfect account. Hunting for perfect cards can make the game itself feel like a chore. Aim for a result you're reasonably happy with.
Summary & Wrap-Up
Rerolling is a great way to make up for bad early luck and get a stronger start — but it's by no means required. If you're happy with your starting card collection, that's all that matters.
